Swisscare Nuweiba Resort Hotel
The Swisscare Nuweiba Resort Hotel is a small, but spacious, inexpensive, three-star, all-suite resort hotel on its own private, sandy beach just 2 km from Nuweiba Port and managed personally by the European-Egyptian owners. Free transport from and to the port can be arranged upon request for guests of the hotel.
All suites have two large rooms - a bedroom and a sitting room - and are suitable for individuals or families. The suites are located on two floors and all have views of the sea, the Saudi mountains, the pool and garden area as well as the Sinai mountains. Each suite has two bathrooms, two televisions (with programmes in the English, French and German languages as well as major sports and news broadcasts), air conditioning, telephone, fully stocked mini-bar, safe, hairdryer and free coffee and tea-making facilities. The suites are cleaned every morning with a turn down service in the evenings.
A full cooked breakfast and a four course dinner are served at the table, usually in La Brasserrie Restaurant. Other meals, snacks and drinks can be enjoyed at the Swiss Sinai Restaurant, Friends' Pub, the Splash Pool Bar or the Bedouin Beach Bar. No buffets, no queues – just good old-fashioned service!
The resort has a beautiful sandy beach with a superb coral reef, a large fresh-water swimming pool, with plentiful spacious sunshades; - sunbeds and towels provided free of charge. There are various recreational activities such as beach soccer, volley ball, basketball, a kids' play-ground, massage and an onsite international PADI dive centre.
In the Friend's Pub there are various board-games, a large library where one can borrow books, a darts' board, a pool table and a wide screen television that shows various sports events. Free Wi-Fi is available in the reception.
The Swisscare Nuweiba Resort Hotel is very much a traditional, family resort run individually for individuals – a concept almost unique here in Egypt and fast disappearing even in Europe !
